Next in Our Bible Reading Plan: 1 Peter

As we continue reading through the New Testament, our next book is 1 Peter—a letter of encouragement and hope written to believers facing persecution.

Addressed to the “elect exiles of the Dispersion” (1 Peter 1:1), this powerful letter reminds us that, though we may experience trials, we have an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading (1 Peter 1:4). Peter calls us to stand firm in faith, trusting in Jesus, our Living Hope, who gives us courage amid opposition.
